We like good coffee and have a spangly, plumbed in machine at home - however, some of the places we visit (including offspring that are not coffee drinkers!) don't have decent espresso.
The answer is a coffee pod machine that we can take with us.
Our original ALDI machine gave excellent service but has now sadly failed, beyond repair. After some research we bought a Philips/Lor machine that uses the standard Nespresso pods . . and of course we needed a case to transport the machine!
Oddments of plywood and a length of "piano hinge" and we have a case complete with storage for a couple of cups, a teaspoon and coffee pod storage.
