I was at Stratford-upon-Avon Hospital today for a minor surgical procedure.
I was reminded of the fund-raising I did with the MacRide Events in 2014-2016 amounting ~7% of the £0.5million raised to fund enhancements to the new hospital over and above the NHS funding. A further £0.5million was a single donation, meaning we reached our target of £1million.
There is a simple wall display of wooden blocks with names of contributing (in cash & kind) organisations and individuals
There is one for MacRide Events and one with my own name.
