The size/proportions of the kitchen table I made in 2020 weren't quite right - so I made a new one with the same laminated plywood technique. Birch plywood had become unavailable so it's Stretek Poplar-faced plywood, finished with OSMO top oil.
Work in progress
- the legs are 72mm square, 4 x 18mm plywood laminated together, with stop chamfers and bolts to attach to steel fixing plates.
- it's 160cm x 90cm and too big for the workshop hence being on trestles in the kitchen.
😢 The one slight disappointment is the limited "grain" on the Stretek when compared with the previous table made from top-quality Birch ply.
