I'm planning a cycling holiday in France later in the year - so I dug out my Michelin Guide - prices have probably changed a bit!
The book was purchased in 1955 during what was, I think, our second family holiday abroad - driving to the S of France, camping.
The 800 (old) Franc cover price equated to about 16/- or £0.80p
On our Seine 2024 cycling trip we dined at a restaurant in Rouen that was listed in the guide - the prices had increased somewhat!
