Sold a bike today, bringing my fleet down to just three - one with an aluminium frame and painted, two titanium and not painted. This cull means that I can now store them all on the rack in the garage rather than keeping one covered over in the bin-store.
The PlanetX red carbon fibre road-bike was fun to ride, but I just didn't ride it enough to warrant keeping it (only 17 miles in 2024!)
I went to the PlanetX factory when I bought the bike, and along with a small group of other customers built the bike myself from a pile of components - great fun and something different, with a small discount.
Sorry to see it go but it was time - and I did get a good price for it.
